Is DIRECTV Stream cheaper when I sign up through Elink?
You get DIRECTV Stream’s own current new-customer offer, the same price DIRECTV Stream advertises, with nothing added by us. Elink is paid a commission by DIRECTV Stream. If your building has an Elink bulk TV agreement, ask your property manager, because building-wide pricing is much lower.
Do I need a satellite dish?
No. DIRECTV Stream streams over your home internet. DIRECTV Stream recommends at least 24 Mbps for the best picture.
Do I need the Gemini box?
No. The DIRECTV Stream app works on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, smart TVs and phones. The Gemini device is a $10 a month lease and is what unlocks the included Disney+ and Hulu (with ads). ESPN Unlimited is included with any Signature package either way.
Is there a contract?
No annual contract. Service renews monthly and you can cancel anytime. Promotional pricing is for new residential customers.
What is the regional sports fee?
Choice, Ultimate and Premier carry a Regional Sports Fee of up to $19.99 a month, depending on your ZIP code. Entertainment has no regional sports fee.
Can I watch on more than one TV?
Yes. DIRECTV Stream streaming packages include unlimited streams on unlimited screens at home, plus the app on the go.
Who do I call for help after I sign up?
Your account is with DIRECTV Stream, so DIRECTV Stream support handles billing and service at 800.531.5000. Elink residents in a bulk building should contact Elink support instead.
